Donna Gail showcasing casual fall fashion pieces from Lintico outdoors and in urban settings.

There’s a huge risk in trusting the quality of an online retailer. Especially when the dollar signs start adding up. This is even more stressful when it comes to women’s clothing. Does it run true to size? Is the length ok for my height? Can I really trust that they didn’t just fake these online reviews? Everything gets called into question. So here is my honest Lintico clothing review of their packaging, fit, and feel of the casual women’s fashion pieces.

About Lintico

Lintico’s big catch is that they produce slow-fashion, European linen clothing. Unlike fast fashion, slow fashion is all about quality products that will stand the test of time. Slow fashion products tend to be what create a capsule wardrobe.

But linen products for women specifically are hard to nail. Although linen is a more sustainable material, it tends to be found in very unflattering silhouettes. Think “Little House on the Prairie” vibes. And unfortunately while looking over their catalog, there were many pieces that I did not resonate with.

However, with how much they discuss linen on their About Us page, 100% linen products are not the only thing they sell.

So even though Lintico’s main target audience is women between the ages of 40-50, I needed to know if a millennial could still find something suitable.

I decided to choose three pieces from Lintico’s women’s clothing product catalog that were not 100% linen and instead had a more flattering silhouette.

Lintico Clothing Review

Everything I tried from Lintico is a size medium. To follow along, here are my specs:

  • Pants size: Between an 8 and 10
  • Height: 5’8″
  • Weight: 140lbs
  • Bra size: 36A

Packaging

Rating: 2 out of 5.

Lintico’s Customer Service reply: “Whenever a customer experiences transit damage like this, our customer service team immediately steps in to issue a full replacement or resolution right away.”

Lintico clothing review starts with poor packaging

As a first impression, my Lintico clothing review didn’t start well. The package was ripped and then tapped up. But the rip went through one of the packages on the inside as well.

Even though this rip was most likely due to the carrier, it isn’t a good look to have such flimsy packaging for such pricey products.

The positive side to this unfortunate circumstance though is that Lintico’s Customer Service reply verifies their incredible replacement policy for just such an occassion.

Reversible Tencel Linen Jacket (CHLOE)

Casual fall outfit featuring Lintico's reversible jacket in plaid and solid navy.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Material: Outer – 79% lyocell and 21% heavyweight linen. Inner – 100% cotton.

PROS: When it comes to clothing, versatility is key. So the fact that this is reversible is a big plus. Pair the navy side with bottoms that have a pattern. Or switch it up and have the plaid side be the statement piece of your outfit. The material is high quality and softer than I expected it to be. The plaid side is actually a little softer than the navy side. Better yet, both sides have pockets! It runs true to size.

CONS: The buttons jingle a little bit.

Cashmere Asymmetric Cowl Neck Top (TATIANA) – Lintico Clothing Review

Clothing review of the casual cowl neck navy top from Lintico and floral skirt outdoors for fall fashion.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Material: 3% cashmere, 40% viscose, 30% nylon, and 27% polyester.

PROS: Very soft and the fit is phenomenal. The body of the shirt tapers slightly at the natural waistline, and the bottom hem hits right at my hip. I am 5’8″ so usually I have trouble with arm length or body length. But that was not an issue with this shirt. I love that the sleeves and body are both full length. The buttons and ruching add a little something to the shirt which makes your outfit feel a little more complete – even if you are just wearing it with a pair of jeans. It runs true to size.

CONS: Only 3% cashmere.

As this Lintico clothing review goes, so far there isn’t much to complain about.

Drawstring Straight Trousers (TAMSIN)

Person walking in stylish streetwear with comfortable Straight Trousers from Lintico and boots.

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Material: 6% wool, 19% lyocell, 20% nylon, 27% polyester, and 28% acrylic.

PROS: The material is extremely soft and comfortable. I love that I can wear them as loungewear or dress them up a little more than that. The pockets are also secure. Having my phone and or wallet in each pocket does not pull down the waistband. It runs true to size.

CONS: The dye on the pants did transfer on the first wear. I noticed that it stained my skin and my white comforter ever so slightly. So I recommend washing it before wearing. Or if you wear before washing, only wear it with dark colors or it could potentially stain something. Additionally since I am 5’8″, I found that the in-seam is a little short for someone of my height.

Lintico Clothing Review Recap

Overall, I do recommend Lintico based on these three products. All three were extremely comfortable to wear and fantastic quality. The reversible jacket is perfect to mix and match with different fall colors and prints. The top pairs nicely with many fall staple pieces. The pants I wear mostly as at-home loungewear since the in-seam isn’t long enough for me to want to wear out of the house.

My only hiccup during this Lintico clothing review was the damaged packaging. For the price of the products, I hope that they take better care of their customers and products by choosing packaging that will not damage the clothing before it even gets to your doorstep.
