My name is Donna Gail, I’m 32 years old, and I am a born and raised San Diegan. I graduated from the University of San Diego in 2016 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing. My husband and I welcomed our son into the world in July 2025. And after living in Southern California our entire lives, we made the big move to Illinois in August 2026!

What I do for work

I am a social media and SEO specialist. I have worked for brands like Harrah’s Resort Southern California, Zero Longevity, and other small businesses around San Diego to help create content and give them direction on their social media presence.

Since moving to the Chicago-area, I have focused more on my own blog and being a stay at home.

My interests

My interests include writing blogs, country line dancing, reading, and crafting. Since I am now a stay at home mom, I love finding new ways to entertain my little boy. I am helping him foster his own love of reading and adventure with regular library and splashpad days.

I have been running this blog for five years now and I’ve loved every second of it. Honestly I never thought I would be a blogger, but I am having a great time of doing it. It’s giving me reasons to explore more, to experience more, and to truly live a little more magically! I have been fortunate enough to work with some amazing companies while on this journey. The prospect of new opportunities with companies and partners that fit my brand and what I stand for gives me so much joy.
