How does AmazingCo work?
AmazingCo Mystery Picnics take all the planning off of your plate. The picnics start at $150 and include a scavenger hunt to different spots to pick up your food. That price includes the food and drink themselves too.
Before the day of your experience, you will receive an email that has a link to access your picnic. When you open the link, it will remind you of what you need to bring with you for your AmazingCo day.
How to book a Mystery Picnic from AmazingCo
When wondering how an AmazingCo picnic works, first things first – choose your location! With locations spanning 5 different countries, there are opportunities to explore your hometown or a place you may be vacationing.
Then you’ll choose whether you want the Standard Option ($150) or an Upgrade Option ($198). The Standard Option includes:
- Pre-planned itinerary and self-guided discovery
- Pre-booked and paid food and experiences
- A stunning picnic spread
- Clues, games, and conversation starters
The “Premium” or the “Cool It Down” Upgrade Options both include everything the Standard has, plus extra treats and experiences.
Before your booking is official, it will confirm how many people will be a part of your experience. Additionally, you will have an option after checkout to confirm any dietary restrictions.
Lastly, you’ll need to pick the date of your AmazingCo experience. Every location will have different availability with some being more regular than others.
What to bring with you
The biggest question you may have when wondering how AmazingCo picnics work is if you need to bring anything with you. AmazingCo’s price includes the fun, the clues, and the food and drinks, but you’ll still need to bring some supplies with you.
You will be responsible to bring:
- A cooler to store your food
- A blanket to sit on at your destination
- Utensils
- Cups
- Water
Before you start your experience, it will remind you of these things too.
How to pick up your food for your experience
After you solve the clue to reveal where you are going, do not move on to the next clue until after you pick up your food. When you get to each restaurant location, have your phone ready and open to the section that says “At this stop”. When asked, tell them that you are there to pick up your items for your AmazingCo picnic. Show them what “At this stop” says as this will guide them to pull which items are yours.

Every experience will vary. But plan for around 2 hours or so from the time that you arrive to your first location.
Is it easy to book a picnic with AmazingCo?
Having gone on two Mystery Picnics with AmazingCo, the experiences are very easy to book. And even easier to enjoy!
What if I can’t solve the clues they have? How do I know where to go?
Every clue comes with a hint that can be revealed. Additionally, if the hint doesn’t help, you can always reveal the answer. So you will never be at a loss for where your next stop will take you.
Is AmazingCo baby friendly?
Absolutely! We recently took our 8-month old with us on their Pasadena route as it was labeled a walkable route and it was very easy to navigate with a stroller. These experiences are great for maintaining some normalcy too without adding on more of a chore in planning something.
