If you run a WordPress site, odds are you have seen notifications from WordPress to promote your site and articles using WordPress Blaze. With it’s quick and easy integration onto your site, why wouldn’t you be curious about it. But the big question remains. Is WordPress Blaze worth it? Will it be a good use of my money? In other words, does WordPress Blaze actually get good results? I’ll give you an inside scope into the results that I got.
Getting started with WordPress Blaze

Getting started with Blaze is very simple. From your homepage on WordPress, it will be the first suggestion (or one of them listed) on this page. Click ‘Create Campaign’ and you’re on your way. You can also do this from the ‘Posts’ tab by clicking the three dots to the right of your posts listed and clicking ‘Promote with Blaze’.
Once you start a new campaign, it will ask you a few questions to help get your article in front of the best people. One thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the image ratio did not automatically adjust to my article’s header image. So I had to create a new square asset for my article header instead.
My results from WordPress Blaze
I ran 6 campaigns on WordPress Blaze for a total of $235. I received an average of 12,533 impressions and 22 clicks per campaign. And on average, 1 click cost me about $1.78.
For not having done any other blog promotion, I thought this was pretty good results! But boy was I wrong. In fact, there is a much better way to boost your website articles to get you a lot more clicks for the same amount of money. Where?
Facebook.
My results with Facebook Ads Manager
I completely understand that learning a new platform may be intimidating. Especially if it’s not as easily integrated as Blaze is. But when you see these results, you will see why it’s so important to use Facebook Ads Manager instead of WordPress Blaze.
I ran 32 campaigns for a total of $400. I received an average of 2,425 impressions and 95 clicks per campaign. And on average, 1 click cost me about $0.25.
What did I tell you? MUCH better results. The reason for that is simple. Ads Manager has a lot more capability than WordPress Blaze does. And until further notice, I will only advertise my blog‘s articles with Ads Manager. You just can’t dispute the success!
Seeing these results, I’m sure you want to get started too! Especially being I have the secret sauce in how to obtain the best results with Facebook Ads Manager when trying to promote your articles.
