Splash Mountain has officially closed. Now it’s time to prepare for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! Although this ride change is causing some to mourn the loss of a classic ride, others are excited to see some new innovation to the parks. After opening Tiana’s Palace at the end of Princess and the Frog, Tiana purchases a salt mine (the “mountain” in splash). She uses this to launch an employee-owned co-op called “Tiana’s Foods”. In line, you’ll be treated to the sweet smell of beignets, music, and a radio message from Tiana. Of course you will see Tiana in the ride, dawning a number of fashionable outfits. But Tiana isn’t the only beloved character that you will see. Naveen, Louis, Lottie, Mama Odie, and even Prince Ralphie will be featured on this Bayou Adventure. As for the sounds of the ride, you can count on legendary New Orleans natives to collaborate on new music for the ride. Board your log raft and join Princess Tiana and her friends on a thrilling quest to restore harmony to the mystical bayou!
